813 Graduates Awarded Degrees at XIM University’s 12th Convocation

Bhubaneswar, April 18, 2026: At the 12th Convocation Ceremony of the prestigious XIM University, 813 graduates were awarded degrees. These included 6 doctoral degrees and 807 postgraduate degrees. Held on April 17, 2026, the 12th Convocation was graced by the presence of the University’s Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Nikhil Sahni, who served as the Chief Guest. XIM University conferred an honorary doctorate in Business Management upon Nikhil Sahni.

Prof. Pradyumna Kumar Mohanty, Dean of the School of Commerce, extended a warm welcome to all students, parents, dignitaries, and guests. Father Jerome Cutinha, S.J., President, formally inaugurated the convocation ceremony and presided over the conferral of degrees.

Presenting the annual report, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Father K.S. Casimir, S.J., highlighted the University’s key achievements and its mission to prepare graduates equipped with a strategic outlook for a rapidly evolving market landscape. Delivering the convocation address, Chief Guest Nikhil Sahni inspired the students to embrace innovation and ethical leadership. He remarked that in this new era, knowledge serves as utility, while ambition lies in contribution. He urged them to choose courage over comfort, to build before seeking recognition, and most importantlyto always remember that credibility is not established through claims, but earned through actions.

Prominent attendees at the convocation included Rajiv Kaul, Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Governors; Father S. Antony Raj, S.J., Registrar; Father Arokiadas Vanthian, S.J., Chief Financial Officer; and the Deans of the various schools within XIM University. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Registrar, Father S. Antony Raj, S.J.
